It's time for spring! The Lily Bee DT is hopping around the bloggy world to celebrate the start of spring and get you inspired for a wonderful Easter weekend — and hopefully some warmer weather to boot!

I made this little basket using a cut file from the Silhouette store and the Cameo. The cute heart paper is from the Sweet Shoppe collection at Lily Bee.

Make sure you stop by each of these blogs to see their work and leave them love. Then head back over to the Lily Bee blog for a chance to win some Lily Bee Design product for yourself!

Fun with pie charts {lily bee}

Hello! No particular rhyme or reason for why I made this layout other than I am getting over my fear of pie charts. At the crop I went to in Syracuse with Audrey, Heather and Sara, I mentioned that I didn't get the whole pie chart trend. Sharp lines all contained in a circle just seemed so wrong to me.

Well…I was wrong. :) This wasn't so bad and I might do it again if the mood strikes me. Thanks, ladies, for the nudge (and double dog dare) to make a page using a pie chart.

I used Lily Bee Pinwheel collection to make this page. There are some great summer elements in this collection and the patterns are so colorful and fun.

Thanks for stopping by to support my pie chart debut. (lol)

Spring has sprung {lily bee}

Hi! Today I am working with a sketch challenge for Easter/Spring week at Lily Bee. Make sure to stop by the Lily Bee blog all week long for fun and inspiration.

I used the Pinwheel and Sweet Shoppe collections on this layout. I love the green, yellow and blue colors to usher in springtime.

I also used my Cameo to cut the larger title. As you can see in the sketch below, I moved the title to the right side so that it would fit with my photo.

Stop by the Lily Bee blog to see what the other ladies made with the sketch. And thanks for visiting my blog today!

Xyron and Imaginisce

Imaginisce is pairing up with Xyron adhesives this week to show you how well they work together. Putting together this little chick-a-dee treat box for jellybeans was so easy with Xyron adhesive.

I especially like Xyron for 3-D projects because the sides hold together. I used the Xyron Mega Runner  to affix the sides and the Glue Stick for the feet and beak. After adding the heavy jellybeans to the front, it never wavered and held together perfectly.

Thank you so much for stopping to see my little 3-D chick treat holder. You should stop by the Imaginisce blog all week long for great Easter projects using Imaginisce and Xyron.

Up in the Clouds {paper issues}

Welcome to Paper Issues "Up in the Clouds" blog hop!
You should have arrived here from Asa's blog.

 If this is your first stop, be sure to head over to Paper Issues to start at the beginning.

I was over-the-moon ecstatic to work with a stamp set from Some Odd Girl. I used pretty much everything from the set on one layout. The rain drops and cloud, the chevrons and the sentiments.

I used pink and orange inks from Martha Stewart and created an ombre effect on them, too.

Do you like the papers I used, too? And the little bow? The Lucky Charm 6x6 paper pad and the Maggie Holmes Crate Paper bows are all for sale in the Paper Issues Shop. Use discount code DIANA20 at checkout for 20% off your total purchase on anything in the shop.

Make sure to hop along with us and 3 winners will receive a stamp set of choice from the Some Odd Girl shop. You'll also want to follow along at the following fabulous places...

Endless Summer {imaginisce}

It's time to get in a summertime mood! Imaginisce has been revealing its Endless Summer collection this week on the blog. Make sure to check out what the rest of the ladies on the DT have made with this collection.

Maybe it was the few days of good weather we had when I was working with this collection, but I was definitely inspired to create something sunny when I made these.

I also now feel like having a BBQ! I wish I could recreate this little BBQ card's scene digitally and send out party invites. How fun are these die cut pieces?

And I whipped up a popsicle treat box for party a favor idea, too. The side of the little box lifts up and there's a hole for the candy pieces to spill out. Really a very neat idea.

So there you have it — working with the new Endless Summer collection from Imaginisce. Maybe if we all start working on summer projects the nice weather will get here faster.

Thanks for stopping by here today!

Happy St. Patty's Day {imaginisce}

Happy St. Patty's Day! Just this past week I shared this Cameo-cut pot o' gold on the Imaginisce blog, but I saved it for a little St. Patty's love here today. Wanted to make sure to mark the day with a little bit o' green for ya'!

Hope your weekend was a good one! Have a green beer for me!

Scrapbook Trends { and some good news!}

There is nothing better than a paper magazine. I have spent the last few years of my publishing career cheering on print and echoing the charge of many that print is not dead.

But you can't argue that the digital magazine is convenient. I broke down and finally got the digital subscription to the Northridge Publishing titles. There are so many of them, that you can't help but see the value in the digital subscription.

…Especially when you have a layout in there that you can't wait to see!

Make sure to check out page 30-31 if you get the magazine! Nate's big orange Easter egg is front and center on that spread.

Thanks for stopping by to see my pubbed layout (and read my unsolicited recommend on the digi sub for Northridge).

Did you see the good news yesterday? Lily Bee announced their new team — and I'm on it! Oh my, am I swooning to get to work with these amazing ladies. Check the CT announcement on their blog to see who else is joining Lily Bee.

Helmar & Pink Paislee

Yesterday, while I was hopping for Samantha Walker here on my blog, I was also sharing this layout on the Pink Paislee blog. We are working this week with Helmar to show off how well their adhesives work with the Pink Paislee products.

I shared a little bit more on the PP blog about using the Helmar products, so head on over there to see more about that.

I am so in love with the Luxe and Hope Chest collections. Trying to convey just how metallic this page is was difficult, but I think I did a pretty decent job representing it here in photos. The coolest thing is that these photos look like they are in black and white but they aren't — it's just how amazing the collections are.

I used Bronzer and Black Color Shine mists from Heidi Swapp on the Artisan paper you see peeking out of this corner here.

Thanks for stopping to see my layout from the Helmar and Pink Paislee hop and swap week! Stop by their blogs to see what the rest of the teams did.

Easter or Lucky/St. Patrick's Day!

For my LUCK page for this hop, I used card stock from American Crafts (it's a great off-white color with some texture to it — I just loved using it), and Carta Bella's new Traditions collection designed by Samantha Walker.

I am so happy that Nate lets me set up picture opps like this. As soon as he's too big for this, I can see already that my layouts are going to get far less interesting. :)

Uncharted love

I love the nautical trend, so when I saw the Unchartered Waters collection from Glitz during this past CHA, I instantly ordered it. After it arrived on my doorstep (thanks Cassie and her Paper Issues Shop!), I just admired it all for awhile. It was too pretty to even use.

In a texting convo with my bestie, Sara, I had snapped this pic of what I had worn to work that day. YES! My love for navy and white stripes was suddenly the inspiration I needed to crack open my stash of Uncharted Waters.

So, it may seem silly to be scrapping a picture of my shirt that doesn't even have my face in it — but I love this! I even branched out and used navy for my background paper. Shocking... I know. :)

Thanks for stopping by here today to see my page and read the ramblings about how I ended up with this layout. Random as it is, this is one of my new favorite pages.

Love these girls! {cocoa daisy}

This day was so exciting! A planned trip to Syracuse to hang out all weekend with Sara Z. and Audrey Y. ended up with an amazing surprise from Heather L. flying in to join us from Texas. Woo-hoo!!!

The first night we went to Empire Brew for some drinks and had dinner at Pastabilities. Yum all around! It was the perfect first night — except for the cold weather that Heather was not enjoying. :) We are already looking forward to when we can do this again.

I made this page using the March Sketchbook kit from Cocoa Daisy as well as the Freehand and Renderings add-on kits. It's a very good collection of artistic eye candy for scrappers.

Thanks for stopping to see my layout and listening to my story about our first night out all together in one place that wasn't online! LOL.

Thanks for being you {Samantha Waker}

Today on the Samantha Walker blog I am sharing a few tips, tricks and a mini tutorial on how to make this card. I used the new Carta Bella Traditions collection by Samantha Walker and some JustRite stamps and dies that Samantha Walker also designed.

I just love that peacock, don't you?! Stop over on the Samantha Walker blog to see more about how I made this card. And thanks for stopping by here today.
